About Me
It is my passion to be a part of the healing journey for my clients and their loved ones.
My interest in therapy as a potential profession and career began in high school, and it was from my own experience in therapy that I knew the positive impact someone can have on your journey. As an undergraduate studying Psychology at the University of Florida, I took as many advanced courses as I could to both satisfy my interest in the field and my desire to develop the foundation from which I could eventually practice. I continued to develop that foundation while completing my Master's Degree at the University of Miami, an internship in an inpatient behavioral health hospital, and multiple roles in the mental health and substance abuse treatment settings, ultimately becoming licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in 2016 and a Qualified Supervisor in 2021.
Working with individuals and couples struggling in their lives, those working through pain, and those wanting to change and grow inspires me in my own life. As a clinician, I strive to deepen my understanding of how I can be the most effective support for my clients, and I am dedicated to continuing to broaden my experiences through reading, training, and consultation, combining a variety of resources into an evidence-based practice grounded in connection, healing, and growth.
